This route starts and stops in Great Bedwin, near Hungerford, with the overnight in Mere. We stayed at the George, in the centre of Mere itself. This was fine if you had earplugs, but apparently everyone else slept really badly. It wasn't just me snoring, honest. There was a festival of some sort outside, and it went on until the early hours of the morning.
